Friday October 3, 2025 is World College Radio Day!!!

We at KCSB are celebrating World College Radio Day by hosting a screen printing event on the UCSB Campus this Friday, October 3rd, from 11-2pm on the lawn above Storke Plaza. All are welcome, come stop by to make some cool new prints! Bring your own T-shirts, Bags, Patches, etc. to KCSB-ify!

Design options are here!

College Radio Day (the first Friday of each October) was conceived by Dr. Rob Quicke (GM at WPSC-FM, William Paterson University in New Jersey), and founded in 2010 by Rob and Peter Kreten (GM at WXAV-FM, Saint Xavier University in Chicago), who helped develop the idea. Now affiliated with the nonprofit College Radio Foundation, College Radio Day aims to harness the combined listenership of hundreds of thousands of college radio listeners throughout the world and to celebrate college radio’s contributions by uniting for this one day. It seeks to raise a greater, international awareness of the many college and high school radio stations around the world, encouraging people who would not normally listen to do so. The goal? That people who do tune in like what they hear and become permanent members of our audiences!

So, if you’re around UCSB, come join us and show your personalized pride: to rep 91.9 KCSB-FM on into the future. Or just check out our awesome “CRD” programming and be sure to become a regular listener!
