All Gaucho Reunion is happening from October 15th through 18th.
UC Santa Barbara Alumni invite you to celebrate traditions old and new, reconnect with friends, network with fellow Gauchos, and enjoy the absolute best time of year in Santa Barbara.
The signature event is GauchoFest, on Saturday, October 17th, from 1-6pm: a family-friendly festival on the UCSB Commencement Green, with live music performed by accomplished Gaucho bands: Animal Liberation Orchestra (ALO), Munkafust, Whatever Forever, and Salty Strings, plus KCSB’s own DJ Darla Bea.
Enjoy local food trucks, beer and wine, games, a kids’ zone, and more.
GauchoFest is a community event, so everyone is welcome!

KCSB-FM is excited to again be a media supporter of All Gaucho Reunion, and a participant in a number of AGR activities this season.
To that end, on Friday, September 4th, KCSB’s leadership team ratified the following proclamation.
KCSB-FM’s Executive Committee hereby declares the week of Sun., Oct. 11-Sat., Oct. 17, ‘Tom Russell Week,’ in honor of the UCSB Alumni Association’s 2026 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient, to be conferred at their Alumni Awards Gala on Fri., Oct. 16.
We encourage our DJs, other programmers, and listeners too, to explore Mr. Russell’s more than 50 years as an important recording artist, writer, and painter whose eclectic American roots music has impacted many and been covered by a stellar list of performers over the years.
This UCSB Alumni honor largely emerged from KCSB’s ranks, and we’re pleased to have played a role in their decision. We are also excited to be involved again as a supporter of All Gaucho Reunion 2026, which runs Thurs., Oct. 15-Sun,, Oct. 18.
A number of our hosts have already committed to share special sets and even entire tribute shows throughout Tom Russell Week on KCSB.
