About KCSB Sports
Here at KCSB Sports we strive to bring the latest news regarding UCSB athletics to the airwaves. Our volunteer staff covers each and every Gaucho sport in depth, something that no other media outlet can boast. Our non-commercial station provides you with excellent coverage with no interruption. The Gaucho Sports Spot (GSS) is our tri-weekly sports update show, featuring reviews and previews of games, live interviews, and roundtable discussion of a wide range of issues surrounding UCSB athletics, and the sporting world.
In addition to GSS, KCSB Sports also broadcasts several Gaucho sports live on the air and on our webcast. These sports include Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Baseball and Softball. KCSB Sports playoff coverage follows Santa Barbara’s teams as far as they go, having traveled to New York, Georgia, North Carolina, Arizona, Illinois, Minnesota, Ohio, and Virginia in recent years. KCSB Sports has followed the UCSB Women’s Basketball team to its NCAA Tournament match at the University of Virginia and the Men’s Soccer team to Columbus, OH for the sweet sixteen.
