Considering the state of our beloved state, the $2M for that unnecessary eyesore could have been better spent, even if it was to stave off another increase in tuition. The management of finance in the state and UC system is only a reflection of what the city/county/feds also get away with. They all need to be replaced with leaders with an ounce of common sense and tighter purse strings.
