Dahr Jamail, author of forthcoming book ‘Beyond the Green Zone: Dispatches from an Unembedded Journalist in Occupied Iraq’, will be discussing the impact of the US air war on Iraq and the occupying army at approximately 8:30 am, July 4th. The interview will be preceded by news analysis with hosts, Marisela Marquez and Elizabeth Robinson. At 9:15 am, Norman Stockwell, WORT Madison Wisconsin, will report back from the first US Social Forum in Atlanta where he led an international team of reporters covering the forum. Although more than 10,000 people attended the Forum, it failed to cause notice in the newspapers of record.
