UCSB Baseball Series vs. Pacific

At 3:00PM on Friday, May 17th, UCSB Baseball (29-21, 12-9) takes on the Pacific Tigers (13-34, 5-16) at Caesar Uyesaka Stadium for the final home series of the season. On Saturday they will play at 2PM, and on Sunday, the game will begin at 1PM.

UCSB Baseball is on a roll as of late winning 6 of their last 7 games and four straight series overall. The Gauchos have also not lost a series at home this season, and look to extend that streak in this conference matchup.

Friday’s game will feature Trevor Saffel and Olivia Collins on the call. On Saturday Josh Fiacco will be accompanied by the Daily Nexus’ Tanner Gore.

UCSB Baseball is on a roll as of late winning 4 of their last 5 games and four straight series overall. Freshman Robby Nesovic has one of the hottest bats in the Big West Conference and will look to continue his recent hitting trend against the Cougars in this non-conference matchup.

At 12:00pm and 2:00pm on Friday, May 10th, UCSB Softball (29-23, 10-11) will begin its final series of the season with a double-header against UC Riverside (19-33, 3-18). The first game will be at 12pm and the second game will start 30 minutes after Game 1.

This is a KCSB exclusive broadcast, Josh Fiacco and Kristen Henneman will be on the call for Game 1 while Trevor Saffel and Nate Loop will take over for Game 2

At 5:00pm on Saturday, May 4th, UCSB Softball says aloha in Hawai’i as they take on the Rainbow Wahine in Honolulu. Gaucho catcher Sami Stark was the hero in the first game of series as she crushed a three-run home run to give UCSB the 4-1 final score after nine innings of play. Today, the Gauchos will try to take the series during the doubleheader starting at 5pm PST.

At 12:00pm on Sunday, April 28th, UCSB Softball takes on Cal State Northridge. UCSB is 27-21 overall and 8-9 in Big West Play. CSUN is 21-28 overall and 7-10 in Big West Play. These two teams split a double-header yesterday, UCSB winning the first game 8-0 while CSUN took the second game 3-0.

At 7:00pm on Saturday April 20th, UCSB Men’s Volleyball takes on UCI in the Bren Events Center for the first round of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation playoffs.

No. 7 UCSB (15-15. 11-13) has won 8 of their last 11 games. UCI (22-6, 18-16) is No. 2 and is coming off of a five game win streak. Also tonight, No. 8 Hawaii is playing No. 1 BYU, No. 5 Pepperdine plays No. 4 UCLA, and No. 6 Stanford plays No. 3 Long Beach State.

Leonard Pinckney and Jacob Melendrez bring you this KCSB exclusive on-air presentation of UCSB Men’s Volleyball. The pre-game show starts at 6:50 for this 7pm game.
