LIVE DOUBLEHEADER! UCSB SOFTBALL AND BASEBALL!

At 12:00pm on Friday, May 9th, UCSB Softball will battle Long Beach State in a 3 game series that will determine if the Gauchos get into the postseason!

UCSB has is currently tied for 1st place in the Big West and are still fighting for that automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament by clinching the Big West title! In order to do so UCSB needs to win 2 of 3 games against Long Beach over the weekend and they will win the title and get into the tournament! So look for standout Shelby Wisdom to take control and lead the way for UCSB whole also trying to accomplish a UCSB record by tallying the most wins for a pitcher in Gaucho History!

UCSB-BaseballAt 3:00PM on Friday May 9th, UCSB Baseball will look to improve upon their Big West record as they start off a 3 game series today against Cal State Northridge!

UCSB has struggled recently only winning 1 of their last 6 games which included a three game sweep to UCI last weekend. Despite UCSB’s solid record of 27-14-1 the Gauchos are only 7-11 in conference so look for them to get back into a groove today against CSUN. As a special treat for the baseball along with Kevin Seng broadcasting will be local 7th grader Jack Moller whose been working with KCSB Sports for the past couple months so be ready for this special broadcast!
