A Band Called Death (Drafthouse Films 2012) focuses on Death, a pioneering, early 1970s, Black protopunk group made up of three brothers from Detroit: guitarist and band-leader David Hackney, bassist and vocalist Bobby Hackney Sr., and drummer Dannis Hackney.

On the Monday, October 14th edition of “The Freak Power Ticket,” producer/host Ted Coe interviewed co-directors Jeff Howlett and Mark Covino. Along with airing that live interview, Coe also played a selection of Death’s music.
