At 11:00am, on Sunday, November 27th, the UCSB Men’s Soccer team visits Creighton University in the 3rd Round of the NCAA Tournament. The Gauchos defeated the Providence College Friars 3-2 at Harder Stadium last week to advance to the Sweet Sixteen for the first time in two years. Now, the 15 seed UCSB team will travel to the Midwest to face the number 2 team in the nation, Creighton University. These teams have met once before just a season ago when the Blue Jays topped the Gauchos at Harder Stadium 1-0. UCSB will be looking to make history in the cold weather as they are trying to become the first California team to ever win in Omaha, Nebraska.
Brent Pella and Mitchell Clements will have the call from Meredith Field at Harder Stadium. The pregame show starts at 10:45am, and kickoff is scheduled for 11am.
