On Monday, October 19, 2009, 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., KCSB’s Santa Barbara Lectures series will present a talk by Will Steger, activist and adventurer. His lecture is titled, “Eyewitness to Global Warming,” and was sponsored by the UCSB Arts & Lectures program. The fourth person ever to reach both poles, Steger presents an visual account of the global warming induced changes that he’s witnessed firsthand in Arctic regions over four decades of polar exploration.
