On Saturday, October 10th, KCSB and the Santa Barbara Independent will be co-presenting a stage as part of New Noise Santa Barbara, a 3-day national music conference and festival at several venues around the city: this showcase will be at Velvet Jones, & features three top local indie-rock groups — Oso (Santa Barbara), Franklin for Short (Ventura), and Le Petit Protest (Lompoc), and two acts from farther afield — Pilar Díaz (formerly of L.A.’s Los Abandoned) and Raining and OK (from Phoenix, Arizona).
Doors open at 7pm. Showtime is 8pm sharp. Individual tickets are $10, and admission is restricted to 18 and over. A NNSB conference badge guarantees admission to all club shows. Velvet Jones is at 423 State Street in downtown Santa Barbara.
Here are the set times and links to all the bands:
Pilar Díaz 1050-1125pm
Franklin for Short 950-1035pm
Raining and OK 855-935pm
