UPDATE: Nederlander announced that the Sonic Youth concert at the Arlington has been cancelled due to guitarist Lee Ranaldo suffering a fractured wrist. Tickets are refundable at the point of purchase.
On Saturday, September 26th, Nederlander Presents Sonic Youth live in concert at the Arlington Theatre. KCSB welcomes the seminal New York post-punk rock quintet back for its first headlining Santa Barbara concert in some time. Sonic Youth will be playing songs from its recent Matador Records release, The Eternal, and a career that spans nearly three decades. Special guests are the San Francisco-based noise pop group Sic Alps.
Showtime is 8pm. Tickets are on sale now at nederlanderconcerts.com and at the Arlington Theatre box office (1317 State Street) in downtown Santa Barbara.
